I think it sums that they just don't have a clue.

Actually this particular theory has been put forward by creationists in the past though as a possible explanation for how star light which seemingly would need hundreds of millions of light years to reach us could be seen from earth.

Obviously when you look across space you are looking back in time and a distant star's light would have taken maybe millions of years to reach us, according the current big bang model.

This was a problem for a creationist view that held to a young earth and universe and theories such as this were put forward as possible explanations.

Quite humourous that now some evolutionary scientists are trying to tout it as their own idea now
