"Yeah, Roy Jones was very, very good and that's a frightening fight. That guy had all the shots and some great moves - aggressive, let his hands go.
"If there was a token to victory for me, it might have been bodyshots. He liked to jump around a lot in the ring and my most underrated arsenal was bodypunching.
"If he wasn't prepared to breakthrough pain barriers then I'd have beaten him.
"If he was prepared to breakthrough pain barries then it may have come down to absorbance, and I had a PhD in absorbance. But then again, he could hit a head harder than the vast majority outside of Nigel Benn and he could avoid a glove better than the vast majority outside of Herol Graham.
"He could also punch faster in combination than anyone else, punch faster off his feet than anyone else and punch for longer than the vast majority. With my integrity and grit, it could only be a bruising encounter on both sides.
"But if he fought the right fight then - providing he was prepared to break through pain barriers - it would probably be a fight I just could not win.
"If he tried crowding me early doors though, it may have evolved into a cat and mouse game of strategy and that was where I was King.
"But yeah, that Jones definitely had the tools to beat me once we got into the swing of things."
