Default Play any videogame for free on your computer. very easy!

    Download an emulator:

The Emulator Zone - Your Source for Emulation!

Download the one for the system you want:

    Nintendo
    GameCube
    Nintendo 64
    Gameboy
    Gameboy Advance
    Super Nintendo
    Nintendo NES
    Nintendo DS
    Virtual Boy

    Sony
    Sony Playstation
    Sony Playstation 2
    Sony PSP

    Microsoft
    Microsoft XBox

    Sega
    Sega Dreamcast
    Sega Saturn
    Sega Genesis
    Sega Master System
    Sega Game Gear

Then all you do is search for the title of the game you want and "rom". Rom files are the game files.

Here is a good site that has every original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis game ever made:

Vimm's Lair - Preserving the Classics

I downloaded the SNES emulator and played some of the classics I grew up playing like Donkey Kong Country, Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, Super Mario World, Mario Kart , Super Punch-out 2, and more.

Also downloaded the NES one and played the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game (still rocks) and Original Mario with Duckhunt.

If you grew up with these systems it is a great nostalgia trip and the games are still a lot of fun.

I can't remember if it was NES or SNES but "smash tv" was one of my favourite games... it's really basic, you are a little man with a gun from birds eye view, you get released into a room with millions of other men that come pouring in, through diferent doors, and you have to continually chain them down with machine guns and different weaponary for about 5 minutes each round...
It's basic, but so freakin addictive!

I was also a game tester for Caesars Palace which is a casino game

If it has bugs, you can blame me

Sure! As far as I know every game is on the internet to download somewhere. If you have a specific title you want, just make sure to add the word "rom" after it.

I have only downloaded the SNES and NES emulators myself, but found a website that has every game I can imagine at Vimm's Lair - Preserving the Classics I think they have all the NES, SNES, and Genesis games ever created. All you do is click on "vault" then search for the game you want. Then simply unzip and open up the emulator! I have the snes9x one and it works perfectly.

I also tried the N64 emulator, but I use a laptop and it did not have enough cpu to run the games without lagging.

Man I love the classics, I have all the snes and megadrive roms working
on my ps2, well recomend chipping the ps2 for this. if your looking
for roms i'd suggest using the bittorrent sites for bundles rather than having to download them all individually!

    Romnation.net have loads.

As far as getting roms (games) that were'nt originally on a cartridge - forget it... you won't find any website that will give them to you... you'll just get a load of spyware.

best bet is to try torrents for Playstation etc

Romnation is the daddy for Megadrive/Nes/Snes/N64 etc

My pc is not a gaming pc but I can still play some games.

I have had trouble with some emulators in the past (slugish) can you recommend some of the better emulators in your opinion? The ones people don't have much trouble with. Then maybe I will start playing some of these games more.
