    Default FOTY Inventory

    So I think tonights fight (Agbeko/Perez) should be in the running for FOTY.

    What would the other nominees be?

    I have JMM/Diaz in the top spot personally

    JML/Mtagwa was good as well.

    Viloria/Solis I think deserves a mention too.

    JML/Mtagwa for sheer underdog rooting excitement. Throw convention out the window. "Defence? We don't need no stinkin defence!"

    haha o man I wanted Mtagwa to KO JML soooo bad.

    I need to watch a non-streamed version of Perez - Agbeko, but I still think JMM - Diaz is the best fight of the year so far.

    Collazo-Berto was definitely fun to watch. I didn't see tonight's fight, but there have been some good ones I must be missing. Cotto-Clottey was a really good fight but probably not in the discussion.

    Collazo/Berto was great.

    Cotto/Clottey I was really on the fence about myself.

    Dunne - Cordoba deserves some consideration as well.

    Excellent choice, I gave Dunne no chance coming into that fight he surprised the hell out of me with the heart he showed.

    Def has to be right up there.Awesome fight with both leaving nothing left to be asked of them.I'm still leaning heavy towards Marquez vs Diaz personally.

    Have not seen Mtagwa vs Lopez,but if it was anything like Mtagwa/Villa then its my loss in a big way......lessers but solid back and forths as well Luis Abregu war with Irving Garcia.Bailey vs Urango was hectic.

    Hey Killer, are you going to keep this updated? Are you going to make this uniform? Maybe make a part as FOTYS and other upsets and shocking knock outs.

    I wish I would have made a list and kept track of all this

    Here are some more

    Here are your random nominations in no particular order:

    Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz
    Nobuo Nashiro vs. Hugo Cazares
    Alfonso Gomez vs Juan Manuel Buendia <--- This was suggested by someone else

    ================================
    Fights that deserve a mention of their own. because of the upset knock outs

    Shane Mosley vs Antonio Margarito
    Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton
    Arthur Abraham vs Jermain Taylor

    ================================

    I guess if we all start brain storming, we can come up with a nice little list

    Victor Ortiz vs. Marcos Maidana (definately round of the year contender)

    Ryan Rhodes vs. Jamie Moore was excellent as well.
