    Default Ain't life a bitch ? (spoilers)

    Very disheartening and dismal "Superfight".

Mosley gave up on himself very very early on.

Which was shocking and disapointing to watch.

What a 2nd round Mosley had, but after that it was all downhill.

In the real world, punks, thugs, big mouths, cowards, they often come out on top.

    And youth almost always prevails.

And tonight that happened one more time.

Yeah abit dispaointing from Shane but what do you expect from an old man. Most of us knew Floyd would win. I didnt think Shane would come so close to stopping him. A prime Mosley would have been a different fight.

Floyd should have tried to stop him

    haha

    Me too bro.

Its like back when Tito Ortiz was beating everyone up in the UFC about 8 years ago.

Mayweather is a great great fighter, but not much of a human being in my opinion.

You mean to tell me that there isn't one solitary individual in that weight class that can throw this guy a beating? This is insane! I knew Mosley wouldn't win the fight - he's just too old in boxing years. But there has to be somebody out there to teach this punk a lesson in humility.

Why can't people just admit he is Great?? This is half the reason he acts the way he does. No-one respects him. But love him or hate him Mayweather is by far the greatest thing out there now and as far as 147lbs fighters go, I think the only 2 better in history are Robinson and (this is a maybe) Ray Leonard.

Roll on the next steroid abuser!!

Yeah, we all had fears about the inactivity and age and I think it showed today. Mosley had a great second round, but that was it really. I don't think Mayweather could have stopped Mosley like Steward was suggeting though. A bit of a boring fight all in all.

    lol

    Lets not get carried away.

I've said it before and I def still believe it now, Mayweather would beat Pacquaio.

But the greatest WW ever ?

    No way.

I think Pernell Whitaker, a prime Meldrick Taylor and Julio Caesar Chavez would give Floyd all he could handle.

I mean Jose Luis Castillo did beat Floyd after all.

As some people choose to forget.

And yeah Mosley looked to give up on himself after about the 6th or 7th round.

He wouldn't even throw hard punches anymore.

Don't think many can argue that he's great, but he's a thoroughly dislike-able individual. That said, I don't think Leonard shares the same status as Robinson - as a matter of fact, I'm certain of it. Leonard was great, but Robinson was a phenom.

Roll on the next steroid abuser What the hell is that about?

I honestly don't think Chavez would win a single round against Floyd. He'd just pot shotted and embarrassed for as long as he wanted to continue.

Flody is well ahead of him imo.

And Floyd beats Pernell and Meldrick Taylor too. Pernell was a great fighter, but he was no Floyd.

Mate i sometimes wonder if some of our members actually watch the fights..

Mayweather was totally in a different league and everytime Shane went near him (after the 2nd round) he got battered with super fast counters.

Floyd then started going after him and battered him silly for 8 rounds.

That was the best i've seen Mayweather.

Aggressive all night and came back like a wounded Lion after he took a heavy shot in the 2nd.

Floyd v Manny is gonna be one of the greatest fights of all time.

    FACT!

Chavez's SPARRING PARTNER beat Floyd Mayweather.

So I'd give the guy a fair chance Bilbo.

Floyd looked great tonight, no doubt about it.

But I think people tend to overrate current fighters a bit too much.

Evey generation of boxing fans does. Its only natural.

If it ever comes...and that's a big IF. I saw ~ 2min of the fight over a shitty stream, so I can't comment on the actual fight. However, Mayweather always gets the job done. RJJ always got the job done, too. That is, until father time caught up with him, and his chin was exposed for what it was: porcelain.
Just want someone out there to teach this guy a bit of humility. Unfortunately, Pacquiao has become a delusional jackass running for political office and setting aside the biggest 147lb fight of the millennium - shameful.
