Firstly, with Steward Wlad has perfected his style... he knows how to box perfectly and use his reach and height to prevent his weakness being exposed.
Secondly... both fighters chins are under rated it seems... both of them landed a hand full of solid shots and both took them well... better than I think both fighter's fans would have expect anyway.
Thirdly... I think Haye picked the right gameplan... he just underated Wlad's chin and over rated his own power. He was never going to be able to stand with Wlad and be busy... he'd have been stopped for sure... he did the right thing trying to tire wlad and land big, the shot never came, Wlad's style left little chances and Haye didn't have the chance to fully load up even when he did land solid.
That's the difference between Haye and Wlad... Haye cna hit hard when he's able to load up and swing for the fences. Wladimir can punch hard relativl effortlessly.
Haye could of put it on the line a bit more... and probavly gotten stopped doing so. but at the same time it wasn't a completely embarassing performance either. Shit talking aside it was a decnt go... the bloke is just too small for Wlad.
Wlad was just the better heavy at the end of the day.
night saddos... looking forward to the verbal sparring 2moro...
