    Default Greatest displays of heart

I was thinking about this watching Karmazin gut it out against Miranda last Friday.

    Corrales/Castillo I - 10th round

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imZaiGJgbsw

What do you guys have on this?

given the shape his arm was in i'd say Jean Pascal, and well an obvious one is Arthur Abraham in his first fight against Miranda

Well the fist one that sprung to mind was Danny Williams v Mark Potter, great heart after dislocating his shoulder!

Arturo Gatti against Wilson Rodriguez, phenomenal.
Some people say boxing is a matter of life or death, it's not, it's far more important than that.

It's a little off the beaten track, but how about Marquez - Pacquiao I? To recover from 3 first round knockdowns and come back to make it a competitive fight is pretty impressive.

Dunne vs. Corboba - one of the more exciting battles of last year.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svB_2FBf0Bw
Sithchatchawal vs. Monshipour - life changing fight for both guys they left everything in the ring and then some, both had great heart. At the point where this video starts I don't know how they even had the energy to throw punches anymore.

Bowe-Holyfield 3. Felt so sorry for Holyfield. He was still throwing punches when he was KO'd

To see 2 fighters showing great displays of heart look up the Andries v Harding trilogy. Especially the first fight where Harding TKO's Andries in the 12th whilst trailing on the cards.

Hell I think just about every fight Gatti was ever in was a great display of heart...The guy just would keep coming even if it was to be abused....

How About Joe Frazier Vs George Foreman...It was short and sweet but man who would have blamed him for staying down after the first shot?

Danny Williams Vs Vitaly Klitschko...Williams was being tared and featherd by Vitaly but Danny still kept heading out to fight after the round break...

Cobb Vs Holmes....Tex just was willing to go for it all or lose it all

    Great fights.

What about Andries getting off the floor 50 times against Hearns?

Thats the first that came to mind for me. I swear Williams was still trying to throw punches whilst unconcious at times. I also nominated that fight in the 'most one-sided title fight' thread.
