Powell-Smith was a disappointment to me. For all the talk, Smith doesn't seem to have the tools to be an elite fighter. But Powell didn't exactly set the ring on fire last night either. An absolute bore.

Which brings me to the following: I hate when both fighters KNOW the fight is a tossup, and STILL neither of them seems to want to "get down" in the last few rounds.

that funny. right after ishe left the contender he was on boxing talk calling out shane mosely. he said that he wanted to fight for the name sugar.

audley harrison got knocked out by michael sprott in the third (i think). it was a pretty lucky punch by sprott and he wasnt even watchin where he threw it. audley the daft cunt didnt have very good defence but it was a hell of a punch that ended him. would have knocked out most (i reckon). before the knock out audley was doing alright, he had knocked down sprott and looked like he came to fight. unlucky for audley more than anything i reckon.
amir khan knocked out some french guy with the first right hand that he threw. it was a sweet as a nut punch but the fans didnt like the fight ending so quickly so started booing. the french guy so i'm told was no bum but amir was just way to good and quick for him.
and micheal katsidis stoped graham earl after earl gave up in 5th. the fight was fookin awesome and was a good old fasioned tear up where the pair of em threw every shot in the book at each other. absolutly amazing fight.
