I like Kellerman the best now.

I used to really REALLY like Merchant...but he's gone waaaaaaaaaaaay offa the deep end now.

Lamps is alright...but he seems a bit full of himself. Always loved Lederman & Lewis is starting to grow on me.

I'll stick with Max though. Oddly enough...I always thought that he was too big for ESPN2 & that he should move over to HBO.

He's just so damned enthusiastic over his job.

Definatly, even in his first event I could see the potential, I think you noted it too, we know talent when we see it

hahaha YEAAAAAAAH right this is a typical commentating statement from Lennox: If he continues to throw that many punches he will for sure get tired as the match goes on further down the stretch".

stating the obvious like Magic Johnson did: while he's dribbling the ball notice the shot clock that means the longer he dribbles the less time he has to actually shoot and make a basket.

Agreed. The thing about Lewis is...he just needs to warm up a bit. Lewis has a wealth of knowledge, he's understandable, & he's just now starting to get into it.

Honestly...I'd rather him be up there than Jones.

I like Lampley overall, although I think he consistently shows bias in favor of specific fighters, notably De La Hoya and Barrera.
Merchant was once a great analyst, now you're lucky to get one or two sentences out of him in between rounds. He's still worth having around just for the unintentional comedy.
I think Steward does a very good job. I always thought Foreman had no clue what he was talking about.

Fran Charles is beyond horrible.
I like Kellerman, sometimes his voice can kinda get to me because he yells more than talks. But overall he does a good job, he was great on ESPN FNF, and I assume he's being groomed to take Merchant's spot someday.
I don't think Lennox is anything special. Like someone said earlier, he just states the obvious most of the time. But I think they should keep him around, he certainly sounds like a bright guy, he could improve if he gets more comfortable.
I've always thought Brian Kenny would be a great addition to the HBO team, it would be great to see him take Fran Charles' spot, but I assume as long as he's at ESPN that's not going to happen.

One of my favourite quotes of all time is from a famous "soccer" (it's football really but I'll be forgiving for you american idiots!) manager, it goes like this " I'm a firm believer that if you score one more than your opponent you'll win" A few years ago my drum teacher said to me "The best advice I can give you is K.I.S.S, Keep It Simple Stupid." Thats my philosphy. But seriously like wack said, he has a wealth of knowledge, and has a unique style once he settles in, sometimes he sounds a bit stupid, but he is articulate and enigmatic at the same time. He stole the show when Maskaev knocked out Rahman again IMO
