Anybody else watching this? It's the only card on TV here..... and I'm not much into college football..... so I'll be tuning in. Looks like they'll have a total of 4 televised fights on the card. Hope they're good.

Good opening scrap between Cuban Jorge Romero and designated opponent Jason Vera. Vera's game, but Romero has the obvious firepower in the bout. Entertaining through 3, scheduled for 8.
Romero pitching a shutout through 4. Vera looked a little hesitant in the last round, while Romero just outboxed him and picked his shots.
Vera picked up the pace in the 5th.... but Romero just keeps stalking him down and landing the harder punches. 5-0 Romero.
6-0 Romero. Romero working the body pretty good. Looks like Vera might last the distance.
Vera was rocked by some lefts and rights toward the end of the round but didn't look in real trouble. Last round coming up.
80-72 all around. No surprise there. Good prospect this Romero guy.
Harold Calderon vs Emiliano Martin Garcia now in a welterweight bout. Don't know either of these guys.
Unbeaten Calderon looks the much bigger guy, plus he's a southpaw. Argentinian Garcia looks stiff and upright. Doesn't look like it'll go the distance.
Garcia dumped on his ass early in the 2nd by a straight left.
Hard to believe these guys are the same size. 2-0 Calderon with a 10-8 round.
This one's a dropoff in quality from the 1st fight. Garcia doing a lot of complaining to the ref, ineffective lunging, holding, and just basically looking to survive the 8 rounds. Must know he's got zero chance of winning.
Fight mercifully ends in the 7th. Garcia's corner calls for a stoppage.
Well.......... JuanMa Lopez is up next. I wish he would retire, but he just keeps on ticking. Let's see who he's up against. Looks like Christian Miño. Know nothing about him. Argentinian with a 19-2 (17 KO) record. We'll see. Probably JuanMa being used as a stepping stone for the Argentinian kid.
Good first round. Probably give the edge to Miño, although both landed. Should be an action-packed fight.
