COME ON HAYEMAKER!
Soon as Hate lands a heavy 1-2 it's goodnight Mormeck,he can't take that power

Another great fight for this awesome year! I favour Mormeck for 2 main reasons:
Wasn't Haye's last fight at HW? He;s going to have to shed some serious weight.
He;s never fought anyone as good as Mormeck before.
Both would score lowly in the stamina department so it will be a close fight. I just hope it's exciting!
cc smash.
it'll definately be exciting El Gamo. Been looking at flights and eurostar prices to get over there, take the missus, watch a fight an take her to Paris kills two birds with one stone.
Haye says he was at the Mormeck v Bell fight an the atomsphere was eletric 8000 frogs all going crazy, just hope plenty of us nip over the channel.
I fly to Ibiza that day
Sort of a / feeling going on.
Trust me Haye will spark him cold in 1 ROUND
If it happens it cannot fail to be a fantastic fight, gonna be some serious fireworks for sure. I think its a pick'em fight, both can really bang, both can be hurt and both gas out in fights.
You could really flip a coin on this one.
I do think however that O'Neil Bell is still the man in the cruiserweight division.
He needs to fight the winner and personally I think he knocks them both out. He's a slicker boxer than both and has a chin that seems to be carved out of stone.
if Haye wins he's going up to heavy so Bell wont get the chance
Smash that just made me laugh out loud. I would put more money on Haye being sparked in the 1st then it going the other way around. Of course I'm a big Mormeck fan.Originally Posted by Smashup
I try not to get to worked up about this one, not until the date draws neared. But Mormeck is the first fighter that Haye has faced that has a chance at moving Haye backwards. The way he comes forward with that cagey defense of his, the way Haye gets flat on the back foot should make it a tough night for the Hayemaker. Moving backwards with that left hand low, and Mormeck having that great right hand (which he hasn't been able to showcase all that much in the Bell bouts), I think Mormeck beats him up something good.
Stamina has to be an issue, but Haye isn't the type of fighter to lay on Mormeck like Bell did. Bell never let Mormeck off the hook, Haye utilizes space a lot more then Bell, I think he is made to order for Jean Marc Mormeck. Of course the power looks scary, but that hasn't been tested much either by any good chins. And Mormeck has a chin.
I'm torn with Haye. I think he has a heavyweight title in 2009, but I don't see him picking one up at cruiserweight.
Perte numero deux for the Hayemaker
I was going to post this when I read it yesterday, but the site had gone down, so I was gutted I didn't get the exclusive!
While I don't back Smash's confidence that Haye will spark Mormeck in the first, I reckon Haye should have enough to beat Mormeck, even in his back garden. Haye's big and strong, and although he struggles to make weight at cruisers, I don't think it is so much more because he fought at heavyweight. That 1 round destruction of the polish dude was despite Haye not muscling up too much.
I say he wins, then announces his retirement from the cruisers, vacates the titles, and then goes back to the heavies, and becomes one of the new generation. His speed and power are good enough for the heavies, but his size might mean he gets tired out by many of the super-huggers we have at the moment.
Mormeck will be licking the canvas within 2 minutes
Mark my words
Think come September I'm going to put this quote in my sigOriginally Posted by Smashup

BUT I saw Huge flaws in Mormeck last time out and Haye bangs Hard.
You really do need to be ringside to appreciate just how hard he hit's
Will it transfer to the Heavy Division..? Yes - but it's when a full blown banger of a Heavy dishes it back out his way that i think he'll come unstuck.
They whack on a way harder level those chaps and can anyone honestly see him taking one off say Brewster?
Very much doubt it
Anyway we shall see i'm correct in my assumption soon enough
Great night for boxing
Didn't notice the video before, I thought he was wearing a comedy wig at firstOriginally Posted by Smashup
