That would make him the half brother of current pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fact that Jones is an accomplished amateur boxer himself makes the find that much more astounding. According to Jones, he was told for years he resembled Mayweather and finally asked Floyd Sr. to take a DNA test. Senior willingly obliged and the test confirmed it. Mayweather Sr. said he has begun a relationship with Jones and intends to spend more time with him in training after the Mayweather Jr. vs. De La Hoya bout.
