Default Daisuke Naito-most horribly awkward style in boxing.

Watching his fight with Pongsaklek, had Pong not gotten old overnight,he would have beaten Naito's ass. He was blocking and countering beaautifully.

As for Naito, head down, swinging for the fences literally. I was prompted to post this after I saw Naito jump and throw a punch at the same time which nearly hit Pong's thigh(it missed) Because he throws so many punches,I think his style is worse than Pince's. At least Daniel can throw the odd straight punch1!! Truly amazing to watch Daisuke!

If you have not seen Piong v Naito 4,watch it.Good figh5.

Too right. I mentioned in a thread a while back how weird his style is. His hooks are truly bizarre.

When I was back in the Philippines, I used to have this japanese cable channel called WoW-WoW. They show tons of japanese pro-boxing and MMA fights. I miss those stuff.

I'm pretty sure they have that channel too in the US. I should enquire TimeWarnerCable about it.

Hey bro, aren't you from Japan? Great to see you online, should come more often! What's the hype over there? Any chance of a Naito v Pong 5? Or Naito v Sakta unification?

Nah mate, I`m from England but have lived in Japan for 5 years.

No idea about the Japanese boxing scene really. Boxing seems to be popular judging by the sizeable number of gyms in Osaka, but it gets very little TV exposure. In fact, the Kamedas are probably the only boxers who I have seen on the TV with any kind of regularity.
Someone in my gym might know, although I wont bother asking my coach as he takes no notice of modern boxers. When I asked if he was watching Mayweather v Hatton he didnt know who they were!

LMAO,Mick,I totally agree that Pong is a guy who didn't take alot of challeneges but come on man,the guy was skilled. Fastest KO in flyweight history was v...Naito,who is dam tough to beat let alone KO!! He also went Japan to fight him too so he did leave his backyard. He would also KTFO Vic which is good in my book!

Being a good technician is 1 thing.

    Taking on opponents that are;
    14-6-1
    9-4-3
    19-8-2
    10-2

While he was 58-2, 64-2 etc. etc...

Only proves that countrys like Thai make the worst matchups.

PongsaShit will NEVER get my respect, he and the WBC jerked around for years. Arce would have destroyed him would they have met in the ring.

    True
He's sort of doing a Jone Jr now
Trying to make up by taking risks
Took on Naito in a 4th
    Cesar Miranda
    Now looks toward Koki
