Default Only in boxing - Mijares/Navarro

In all seriousness, I think that there is a chance that the judge who scored this fight for Navarro 120-108 may not have known which boxer was which.

That is giving him the benefit of the doubt, because if he did know who was who, then he was paid off. No ifs, no buts, no maybes - that guy is either one stupid or one corrupt motherfucker.

I wish he would consult with me before such things. I could pull a Welshdevil rob with my pics if I had a judge that malleable.

It's funny, because about halfway through the fight I realized I still didn't know which guy was which and I said so to my girl. Merchant got them mixed up about a half-dozen times too, although that's actually not uncommmon.

Just because you and a drunk senile commentator get a fighter mixed up, that doesn't give the judges that excuse.

Heh, yeah, but it makes Larry look better -- at least he knew who was who by the end of the fight, and he's drunk and senile.

Even if that is the case, that score still wouldn't make sense.

120-108 for Navarro was without doubt the worst bit of judging i have ever seen. This takes the biscuit, there is no comparison Doug Tucker is one dumb mother......! The fight was competitive but unless he did get confused as to who was who you wouldn't have it a shutout for Mijares either. This was just total incompetence! Now can we get Mijares V Montiel happening? Vic retire now!

I wonder if a fighter has ever won a split decision, while losing 12-0 on one card. This might be a first.

Doug Tucker is a moron. He also had Marquez beating Barrera 10-2 and Griffin beating Toney 11-1.

How can there be any excuse about not knowing who was who. Navarro had his name on the back of his shorts. I noticed that after watching for barely 30 seconds.

Shocking and it cost me in the prediction contest as I plugged for the UD.

Well there you go, total incompetence. They must surely investigate how this dickhead judges fights. Buffer looked like he didn't want to read it out!

That scorecard right there is or I should say, should be an automatic revoking of his judging licence. Abysmal, shocking and apalling. Getting the fighters mixed up isn't really an excuse for a judge:if he doesn't know which was which, he shouldn't have been judging the fight in the first place. Really pathetic.
