Default Froch, maybe faking retirement to create interested?

Probably not but I noticed that basically no none gives a shit about him fighting again and next to no one cares that he is retired.

Could this be just to get a little bit of publicity so when he does fight again everyone is happy about him coming out of retirement?

Like I said, probably not but I find his career ending was a bit shitty, he should have retired after the Kessler win.

In boxing this shit is always a possibility.

He's been talking about it for a long time, so I think it's serious.

He's not that big a deal that people would give a shit about him coming out of retirement.

He retired because he didn't really have any nice safe options that would make him a few quid to retire on. He looked poor in his last two fights and he knows it. Fighting guys like DeGale, and particularly Golovkin, were money-making fights, but huge risks and I don't think his ego could stand finishing his career with an embarrassing defeat.

He's done the right thing. I take my hat off to him to going out while he is still at the top. Far too many fighters hang around long after they're shot and damage their legacy.

I think Groves and De Gale will ask him to make a comeback which he will be tempted.

I don't think he will come back but I have been very wrong in the past.

I hope he stays retired, he achieved more than he should have done imo anyways.

You know Froch may not be as good as Joe but he does have a better resume.

I wonder how long Froch can go on camparing every single fight to agroves or acalzaghe as a commentator?

I think it will turn in to a drinking game because he didnt even take a fucking day after announcing his retirement to talk about Calzaghe!
