Default Cus D'Amato and Brendan Ingle

If they were still around, do you think we would have seen something different in Mike Tyson and Naseem Hamed?

if naseem had stayed with ingle he would have retired undefeated and koed barrera.

maybe with Tyson, I always felt Naz would lose to a world class guy, Ingle or no Ingle
Barrera would beat him every time

I think Barrera was just too good for Naz that night. He was totally on the ball and it was one of the best boxing lessons ever.

Tyson would no doubt have had a much less troubled career with a better record to show for it.

There comes a point in a boxers career when they reach a certain status and the rise to fame & fortune becomes just too much to handle.
Nothing wrong with that it happens to them all. Monzon, Gomez, Pac, ODLH, Naz. They start making changes loads of people are whispering things in their ears and they begin to get blinded by these things. IMO sooner then later Tyson would have left Cus if nothing more then by some type of brivery by Don King.

It's hard to tell how their careers would have gone but one things certain IMO they were both 2 of the highest payed boxers in their respective div. at the time and all that money will change you sooner or later.
