    Default Khan Scoops Top Award

So the Khan v Maidana fight has recently scooped the prestigious Ali-Frazier Fight of the Year award in the states, voted for by the american writers. This should help raise his profile no end dont ya think ?

Good call, I thought it was a great fight, best of the year for me.

Amir has the potential to be massive imo, very few fighters are as exciting as he is.

was a good fight and with Khan's dodgy chin he should be in some more tear up's before he retires.

Khan showed some speed and combinations but his chin didn’t impress me. Many will say “…he showed he can take a punch…” actually I think he showed he can SURVIVE. He protected his chin quite well. It was until he received a clear punch to the jaw/chin that made him change his style from boxer, which he was doing well, to survivor which involved him running around and hugging.

    His chin didnt impress you

He got twatted by one of the hardest punches in the division on numorous occasions and didnt go down what would he have to do then to impress you, get hit by a heavyweight?

That was the greatest fight of the decade according to ODH.

I dont actually know alot about Maidana... were alot of the fighter's he ko'd regarded as durable?

Outside of that, why are all the headline i've seen said Khans wins award. It takes two to tango.
