Can't wait for this, promises to upstage Forrest and Quartey.
I like Ouma but he seems to lack punching power, not seen Sechew fight yet but unbeaten and seems a hot prospect.
Should be a good'un

Sechew tries to fight like James Toney against Robert Frazier, up against the ropes and countering well. He's a good boxer puncher who could cause Ouma problems, but Ouma can box too so we'll see what happens. I want Ouma to succeed but at the same time I dont' want Powell to lose and I know that Sechew could get a second chance but Ouma can;t, if he loses its just about over for him I would love a draw.
Ouma MD
Is Sechew a big puncher?
Ouma UD
Does OumaFan still come around? Anyone know?
Thats what we don't know. He can be a big puncher sometimes and other times he's just a boxer puncher, he's been both devastating and accumulative in some fights. We don't know if he's a big puncher or not, he's probably on par with OumaOriginally Posted by bilbo
I will venture to say that this will be another example of true grit (of Ouma) overcoming very good boxing skills ( of Powell).
Powell has alot of grit himself though so I doubt there will be a knock out. He and Cornelius Bundrage knocked each other down but Powell was able to evercome a very good punch rather quickly and finish the fight.
Powell ain't ready for the crazy voulmne punching attack and heart of Ouma. I see Ouma is most definately gonna win this one. By late TKO or UD. Powell may rock him at one point, but Ouma should win.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
I love Ouma, he will win this.
Yeah,he does but not as much as before. Ouma maybe moving back to 147 after this fight!! Imagine him v Margarito...that would break punch output numbers!!Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
Yeah I'm looking forward to this bout, I really like Ouma he's a tough kid with a great story who's been matched tough from early on, which I don't know if I can say the same about Powell. For me this fight is gonna show if Powell is for real. We already know Ouma's no joke. It's tough to make a call, but I'll take Ouma over the distance.
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Yea I think that would be a wildly entertaining fight. Another potential match that was talked about a couple months ago was Ouma vs Sam Soliman, that would be another wild punchfest... I also seem to recall Ouma is ready and willing to face Margarito if he get's past this one... Let's see if he officially calls him out or anything, and if Tony will take the challenge.. Also Ouma shouldnt have to move down to 147 to fight Tony, he can move up so easily.Originally Posted by The Game

Tough fight to call but I wouldnt be surprised if Powell came up with a win, he is a very talented kid and could be a future star. This is a big step up for him so we should learn a lot about what sechew is capable of.
Oscar mentioned Ouma moving to 147 in an interview which I read.
