    Default Rios retirement

Anybody think Rios will stick to his retirement. I've enjoyed his career, he was a warrior. I know he was slipping, I think partly due lack of dedication to his training or overestimating his ability Brandon, you were a pleasure to watch, I have a feeling we will see you in the ring next next year.

For his sake, I hope he does. But he's got a lot of kids and staying retired may be hard if he didn't invest his money wisely. Fighters out of the garcia camp and generally not known for being shredded and their conditioning. I only see it ending bad for him if he comes back.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Money is the biggest reason fighters come back. Most of them don't have the time to get tired of boxing before their bodies force them out in one way or another.
Look at Froch, he took a lot of time to make the decision to retire and here he is talking about one more fight. Like you, I think we will see Rios in the ring again.

Rios has serious brain issues and all that punch bag abuse has already done its damage.

He should have left the sport ages ago..

If he gets divorced, and it's more likely than not, he'll come back at some point. I'd like to see him stay married and not blow his dough though. He was always good to watch and always came to fight.

Rios comes back more than likely over Money. He has no reason to think like Froch ; a potential all time great in his weight class- who still thinks he can turn the clock back aka hopkinsitis.

I think he retired before the bell sounded for his last fight by the looks of things. If your going in on reputation but not caring in the least to resemble it, time to jump ship while you can still form sentences.

It was his attitude about training that he hydrated to 170lbs it was gift for Bradley ho had speed as an advantage and the accumulation of body shots brought him down. For now a long rest and maybe his decision to retire was the best thing because it was his own decision. He should at least be glad he wasn't hurt badly.
