Hey Guys brand new to the forums, I know there is probable a better place to say hello but I wanted to get some feed back on my training and say hello at the same time. My real name is Jon Jones but I use Jonny Havoc, I am 6ft 12stones/168pounds.

I started boxing last year around the end of November and of yesterday my trainer asked me if I would like to start white collar boxing.

Here is my currant training.

Mondays Swimming - 1 - 2 hours
Tuesday - rest
Wednesday - Boxing training - mainly cardio with sparring 1.30hr
Thursday - rest
Friday - Jogging 3 - 5 miles up and down hills - Will be changing to Boxing training - technique and sparring - 1.30hr
Saturday - rest
Sunday - Light jog or swimming

I have also started a programme to do 100 press ups. It is every other day.

I need to start pushing weights and wanted to know if I should start taking proteins shakes before my training. If you have any advice or tips they would be much appreciated.

I will be looking around the forum as I assume a lot of my question will be answered.
