your in the same boat as me, except i am 22 years old coming out of college. It's nice you are starting young. Most boxing clubs/gyms are very helpful and nice, just go to one and let them know you are interested in joining and they shall give you all the details, when they train, have classes, etc. As for now you could start with the dieting, eating healthier whole foods, and do the alternating workouts with different types of cardios on diferent days. Other guys on the forum would probably have better specific workout plans.

    good luck!

start running. build yourself up to at least 3 mile runs 3-4 times a week and incorporate up to 20 60yard sprints (preferably uphill) another 3-4 times a week. 300 push ups a day (min set of 30), 300 jumping jacks a day (min in the 75-100), 200 crunches (shoot for sets of 50),3 3 minute rounds of jumping rope, start shadow boxing for 3 3 minute rounds a day as well. This should almost get you ready to start boxing.
It feels good to be back home.
