    Default Taylor fighting Mora next?

Dibella said a Mora fight "is a strong possibility. The guy can box his ass off, he's undefeated as a pro, he's world ranked all over the place, he won the contender and he's a celebrity so he's definitely a viable option for Jermain's next fight."

That's on www.boxingtalk.com. Mora also invented paper. He is well known and very beatable so I guess its a good move by Dibella, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. Mora might actually be slightly underrated because of the contender thing, but he's not beating Taylor.

If anything mora's overrated. I can't wait for taylor to brng him back down to earth. Everyone talks about manfredo like he's garbage but you need to realize b4 the contender he was ranked 3rd in the world and undefeated.

I don't know much about Mora except he has a big mouth!! Is this a good fight for JT? I'd prefer to see a Winky fight but it seems less and less likely.

No its a bad fight for Jermain. Mora is actually a very underrated body puncher and as much as people hate on him for his mouth he has skills. I don't think this would be a good fight for Taylor ESPECIALLY if Mora can take his punches.

    mora is extremely overrated.
i cant Stress the word EXTREMELY enough.
He bunny hops into all of his combo's, a good boxer will catch him with it, and send to the canvas.
archak termeliksetian did it to him early in the fight, and archak does not have the power JT does. There will be no Phoney "toe the line" bullsh!t, JT will put him on his ass, and his career on ice.

If almost nobody thinks he's any good, then I don't see how he's overrated.

Everybody thinks of him as a joke cause of the contender, but he's a decent fighter. I don't think he's necessarily a good fighter, and he's not beating Taylor, but I don't think he's as bad as some people make him out to be. I think its a more competitive matchup than Calzaghe-Manfredo, although that's not saying a whole lot.

After the Ouma fight I am thinking less of Taylor. I think Mora could give him some problems as long as he can take Taylor's punches. Mora is still too green to have a good chance, but I think Mora will cause Taylor some problems. Especially if Taylor keeps going backwards for no reason.

You cant blame peope like Taylor and Calzaghe for wanting to fight these contender guys though. They can get more money and more exposure for fighting Mora or Manfredo than someone who is better than them because they are names. They're well known to a wider audience than most boxers. Why take a harder fight for less money and less recognition?

I'm not a Mora fan, but he will be more competitive with Taylor than Ouma. Ouma does move his head at all and he wins by swarming and strength. Taylor might lack skill, but the guy is a physical speciman. At least Mora moves his head, has a little elusiveness, and can counterpunch a little bit. If Taylor can't KO him, he won't look pretty in getting his decision.

Can't explain exactly why but Sergio Mora is one of my favourite fighters. I reckon the kid has real skills and a warriors heart.

Taylor hasn't knocked anybody out for a couple of years and if he can't put Ouma down despite hitting him almost at will I doubt he will find Sergio easy to get out of there.

I think if this fight does take place that Sergio will prove a lot of people wrong.

He probably won't be able to win but I reckon he could give as good an account against Taylor as Maliggnaggi did against Cotto.

Remember how before the Cotto fight EVERYBODY hate Maliggnaggi, he was on a par with Tarver and Ruiz in the hate stakes. After the Cotto fight virtually everyone now respects the guy and he's considered a really tough, gutsy fighter.

I think Sergio Mora could see a similar switch in public opinion following a fight with Taylor.

I dont think many people are saying they hate Mora, its generally agreed that hes a decent fighter but overrated. He wont be a walkover but for someone whos beaten the likes of Hopkins and drawn with Winky there doesnt look to be much chance of a loss to Mora.
