I just read that he will be announced as 'Brain Dead' hes already undergone surgery and is still in a coma.



My thoughts and prayers continue to be with him.
May god be with him.

Yeah Mick, I just read that Choi had died.

I never saw him fight, but he was a light flyweight world champion.


The irony is, he actually won the fight that killed him. He got the decision but had already suffered a massive subdural hematoma and collapsed later.


Always sad when a warrior pays the ultimate price competing in the sport he loves. RIP

Seems relatively common in Korean fighters for some reason,it seems every time a guy dies in the ring its either a Korean or a guy who really should have had their liscence pulled 4 years ago.I have absolutely no idea why this is though
