    Default What's your EDC?

What items do you carry with you on a regular basis?

I have my wallet, cell phone, keys and then an Altoids tin.

In the altoids tin I have band aids, antibiotic ointment, alcohol prep pads, ibuprofen, q-tips, safety pins, mini LED flashlight and a Leatherman style CS.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

What does EDC stand for? I have my wallet, mobile phone, keys and a clean hankerchief. Sometimes I carry a USB stick for transporting recording sessions in my pocket.

I think I'm going to get one of those really small USB sticks to throw in my tin, there are so many instances that it would have been handy.

Cheers . USB sticks they are very cheap now and you can get a lot of data on one. Also they are pretty indestructible. Mine has been in a washing machine a few times and still works.

I have a bunch at work, I'm just trying to think of more hand items that will fit in my tin.

    Something like this would work
Amazon.com: SanDisk Cruzer Fit 16 GB Flash Drive - SDCZ33-016G: Electronics

I'm also thinking some Krazy Glue as well.

    Which multi-purpose do you have?

I should add, I smoke, so I have a bic lighter as well.

I tend to get one every couple of years as a gift. Nothing special just pliers, flat head, alan wrench, can-bottle opener, small blade etc.

Used to love those insta flick bics.

The one thing I don't like about the multi-tool I have now is there are no pliers, the scissors are great though.

Depends on where I go. Normally, money, phone, cards and I have a single edged razor blade that is useful for many things including splinter eradication. In the desert areas or any time really; a tea spoon of black pepper will always fix a radiator leak or welsh plug hole very fast just pour it in the radiator. (old cars) I wouldnt do it to a new one unless in real trouble). So a table spoon of black pepper.

When you cant be armed like on a plane two very pointed pens (im the hero that takes out the terrorist as he walks by )
On water, spinners and line and a clear plastic sheet folded down small, for water collection and it also cooks fish in the sun.plastic bag does it better.

Plastic sheet is the best thing you can have either out on water or in a desert.
Cover a bush and catch perspired water. Cover and warmth for at night time.catch rain. slow cook stuff in it.

    I can explain it.
But I cant understand it for you.

You can't go wrong with needle nose yeh. Mainly for clamping on new rabies tags at work. Scissors for nose hair when available

If I'm just going out, I carry my wallet, keys, cellphone, and chapstick (Canada FTW)

If I take my backpack with me, which I usually do when I am taking transit instead of driving, I would probably also have water, an mp3 player (fuck iPods), my leatherman knife/tool/drillbits, and some other random shit I'm likely never to need.

And crack. You never want to get caught without some rock in Vancouver. I think we are required by law to fire up a stem at least once a week.
