Default SKy Fight Night Live -Belfast Show -Frampton,Mccloskey etc

Surprised this has flown under the Radar somewhat amongst the British and Irish Contingent here. Great performance by Frampton against a gun shy and clearly fading Molitor. Fantastic pressure and workrate. Does anyone think the Jackal is ready for world class opposition or should he try to secure the European and British number 1 spot first? Mccloskey looked better than last time out but I have to be honest and admit I do not enjoy watching him box and think he has already hit his level.

Frampton looked good, but them Super bantam Champ's are a bit special not saying Carl, would not
beat any of them but they are extremely good. You would have to say all very hard fights, for Carl.
Beanz I think you are right , about a fight for the European title it's the way to go.
Mccloskey I feel is about ,European level Know more, I don't think he's no were near a top ten fighter,
he's at the top of his game so that's him at his best, to be frank no World Champ.

Carl looked incredible, but Molitor is done unfortunately; I really liked Steve as a fighter.

McCloskey did ok; his workrate is great, but I think unless he develops some more power he'll be in trouble.
Long twelve round fights, always relying on being fitter, relying on the reflexes....
Kinda sounds like an aged Roy Jones story to me

Frampton was ok. Unfortunately, against such a gun shy opponent in a phone box of a ring, the constant pressure was always going to be the most effective way of winning. It shouldn't be used as a yardstick to gauge how well he'd do at world level....in a bigger ring, against a world class operator who actually wants to fight.

Not knocking him, because it was a good performance, but I don't see anything particularly exceptional in him. Get the feeling he will be in some exciting fights down the line though, hopefully picking up a belt.

It was a destructive performance by Frampton but Molitor was a shadow of himself. Has Steve retired now? He should after that beating.
