Yeah I'm a big fan of both; Pavlik still probably my fave current fighter; and Williams just fun to watch and a freak of nature. I bet he stops Pavlik or makes him at the least look silly unless Pavlik can hurt him. Paul will not stand in front of Pavlik all night and trade, he will box him silly and I bet has the power to stop him. A great fight and though Pavlik is my fave fighter still if he loses he loses, life goes on. About damn time Pavlik starts defending that title.

I really can't wait for this fight. If Williams wins then he truly is a top top fighter in my opinion and can move on to greatness no doubt. Pavlik most certainly has the power to stop Williams though so if PW trades it could be good night.

Its truly freaky how Williams is taller, or seems to be in the pic, shoes aside...

Great pics...Agree with Legion.I have a sneaking feeling that Williams is going to do a number on Pavlik.But Pavlik is not a guy that you want to enter the ring relying on a 'good chin' with.Better stay smart.

Both fighters come out of this looking good with a win. Beating Pavlik would mean Williams is a top 3 p4p fighter in my book because he becomes probably the best fighter between 147 and 160. Is there a bigger accomplishment? Beating the top dog at 160 is bigger than beating the top dog at 147 or 154. I give Williams a lot of credit for taking this fight. For Pavlik, beating Williams will restore his reputation as one of the elite in the game after suffering the loss to Hopkins. Most people have Williams in the top ten p4p. I give Pavlik a lot of credit for taking this fight too. He could have fought Mora or another mandatory and instead he chose the most "feared boxer in the world" and to top things off, he is going into this fight as the underdog (as an aside, strangely, he was the underdog in his three biggest wins, but the favorite in his sole loss).

He did look pretty good against Winky, but against Margarito he took a lot of stuff down the stretch...if he takjes that from Pavlik I can't see him stand to it tbh.

Wow... Williams watch is HUGE. That thing better tell time in the future or something. Maybe it's a counterweight to help his right hand have a little more sting in it?

My prediction.. whichever fighter shows up with a mowhawk will lose. Second, whichever fighter has more fringe on their trunks will lose. And third, whichever fighter comes in trying to touch gloves every time a punch goes a little low... will lose.

I think these guys are gonna have to ditch the nice guy image/attitude and get a little rough. Both of these guys are a little too clean of boxers to win this fight. I think Pavlik is going to have his way with him.

The 3rd man will win.
