Default My ten least exciting fighters. What does you list look like?

    ALPHABETICALLY:

    Henry Akinwande The Hugger)

Shannon Briggs: Non-stop action during the prefight conferences.

Morrade Hakkar: Achieved immoratlity against another action fighter..Bhops

    Henry Maske: No ser gut!

Floyd Mayweather Jr: After some early sizzle, it quickly becomes fizzle.

Zahir Raheem: Ugh. This guy is better than 2 paxils, 3 depakotes and 5 valiums.

John Ruiz: Double ugh. But his former imbecilic manager made up for some of the pain.

    Corey Spinks
: Triple ugh. Fight with Taylor bile-inducing.

Jermaine Taylor: Let's hope Pavlik ends this mistake.

    Valuev the Monster
: Plodding bore belongs in Hollywood, though there is some facsination involved to be sure.

I actually think that Spinks and Taylor are exciting. Taylor didn't make the Hopkins fights boring. His bout with Wright was good. He just has been matched tough. Spinks should have never been in the ring with Taylor but outside of that, the fact that he is so fast with his feet and gets in and out in a flash is exciting.

Mayweather...well he's the best, he's the most talented fighter in the world, nothing boring about that.

Here's mine. In no order except for that Raheem is up top.

    ZAHIR RAHEEM
    Audley Harrison
    Mario Ramos
    John Ruiz
    Fres Oquendo
    Rolando Reyes
    Shannon Briggs
    Anthony Thompson
    Nicolay Valuev
    Kevin McBride

I like watching Spinks fight,I mean if there were more guys like him,I'd hate boxing but he's a pure boxer really textbook stuff. It's a testament to his skill that he can move up in weight with his total lack of power and still win fights(he was robbed in that JT fight).

Every list has to include Raheem

    Alot of British HW(Skelton,Harrison etc)

    Ruiz

    Valuev

I can't think of any others at the moment,I'm too hyped for tonight!

I think all virtually all fighters can be exciting or boring depending on whose in front of them, often its the matchmakers responsibility to choose boxers whose style will gel well with their opponents.

I guess watching Witter and Ruiz is painful sometimes, and I'm not really a fan of Hatton's mauling style either although it would be overly harsh to put him on the least exciting list.

Most German fighters bore the tits off me, so upright and slow most of em.

Sergio Mora is a great technically skilled fighter who bore more than the t--- off me. He is grim and suitable punishment for a serial killer to watch.

I agree on Corey Spinks I like the guy....True boxer....when in shape and prepared like the first Judah fight he is good enough to beat anyone....

Same for Chris Byrd a lot of people don't like him but I always thought he was a great boxer

I watch Mayweather fights all the time. I don't get bored at all in seeing a guy who is the best at his craft go out and win. Back when I had my library of fights, I would watch Mayweather probably more then anyone.

Floyd Maweather jr. vs. Arturo Gatti (Highly entertaining fight, IMO. Mayweather landed some nice combinations, in a 6 round dominating performance.)

Floyd Mayweather jr. vs. Diego Corrales (Another dominating performance by Mayweather, that featured five KD's of Diego Corrales.)

Floyd mayweather jr. vs. Philip N'Dou (Mayweather stands and trades and takes more shots than we are used to seeing from him.)

Floyd Mayweather jr. vs. Emanuel Augustus (Some great action here, with Mayweather once again deciding to stand and trade rather than jab and move)

Floyd Mayweather jr. vs. Demarcus Corley (Some nice action in this one as Mayweather landed some very hard shots)

I watch PBF vs. Gatti on a consistent basis. Watching Gatti take all those shots and keep coming is pretty entertaining. A fight doesn't have to be back and forth like Corrales and Castillo for me to find it entertaining. PBF landed enough shots in that fight for both him and Gatti. Has PBF has some dull fights, absolutely, but he has also had some pretty good ones too. I don't think its fair to say that he is as boring as say a Zahir Raheem or a Cory Spinks. They're have been several fights where Floyd has stood his ground, traded with his opponent and came out on top.

Cory Spinks is terrible to watch, but he has to fight that way. His chin is terrible and if he gets clocked with one or two good shots hes going down. Cory Spinks fights in reverse , runs away from action, and hugs if his opponent gets to close to him. But his style is effective, so as they say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I think you got least favorite and least exciting mixed up. Judah is a lot of things but boring isn't one of them. Same with Duddy and Calzaghe.
