this guy would walk away with his tail between his legs if he was to do pushups beside Ross Enamait and his tripple clappers. I've never seen anyone do them like Ross. He's absolutely amazing and makes it look effortless, especically the power-overs.
A thin to notice about both the guys in this video is how they perform the exercises with their legs wide apart, it stresses the core a lot more if you have your legs touching, even more if you have one foot on top of the other, makes for much harder (better) training.
they've chosen extremely odd places to film them. The one place looks like the back of a lebanese restaurant.
I think most people try them, fail, and quit. The thing to remember, and I said this in another thread, don't do any weight training exercise that you couldn't do plyometrically in the sense that yuo could thrust the weight at least 2-3" away from your hands, feet, whatever. so when doing a plyo pushup, if you can't go all the way down and thrust yourself into the air, start by dipping only a few inches. Then get deeper as you get stronger. Also position your hands in various places, coming as close to mimicing the motion and path of a punch as possible.
Awesome Advice
