    Default Cedric Boswell

I was just curious what happened to this guy? Is he still fighting? He seemed like a good heavyweight prospect but got stopped by McCline in '03. I haven't really heard anything from him since.

He took 3 years off after that loss, he's been fighting semi-regularly since coming back in 2006.

Here's a vid of him fighting undefeated Roman Greenburg.

Cedric is getting up in years though, he's gotta be pushing 40.

that was a pretty nice KO

Actually Cedric was one of the more athletic heavyweights America's had in a while. Remember he outboxed McCline till the last round and then his chin cost him.

Cedric was supposed to fight Vitali Klitschko but when Kirk Johnson got injured and Vitali moved up to fight Lennox of course he was left behind.

I think Boswell and guys like Travis Walker aren't being promoted correctly...those guys have talent and some power and the lack of power is what really pisses off the average American fan. Americans don't want Chirs Byrd or John Ruiz....they really didn't appreciate Evander Holyfield all that much, but they loved the big bombers like Tyson, Dempsey, Marciano, Louis, etc....if we ever had another big bomber like those guys all would be right in boxing

I always thought he was good. He did have some good skill's. I just kind of lost him in the mix I guess. Thanks guy's.
