Smile Who Will Make Heavy Weights more Exciting to watch?

Heavy Weight bouts have become way too sloppy and boring to watch. They have gotten too slow and bleak! Watching them is like wasting your time and you might flip through 7 channels and flip back and these guys are still holding each other in the same corner! Its too bad.
I don't know whether I am the only one that is seeing this but it is not exciting me at all.
Question... Who Will make Heavyweights exciting to Watch again in this era?

First one that comes to my mind, for obvious reasons, is David Haye. I know he isn't liked by many but his whole attitude really helps to promote fights in the heavyweight division.. it doesn't matter how much you think he doesn't deserve the fight or how badly you think he's going to get beat, the truth is his fight with Wlad is recieving far more attention than Wlad's fight with Ibragimov or Rahman did for example, not to mention his style of fighting brightens the heavyweight division up alot, with his fast punches and his wild swings. The division needs more fast paced fights, the last few 'big' heavy weight fights have been at a blistering slow pace, with wladimir jabbing people to sleep or Peter wobbling around the ring.. so all in all I think the division needs more faster people.

It'll take a hell of alot of talent and time to turn the Heavyweight division around. It's taken a battering from the media and the public over the last 5 years, to the point where I think it's actually underrated although its still rubbish compared to some previous era's. There won't be any quick fix... Haye is a start but there needs to be at least 2 more exciting talents to emerge who can realistically compete with the Klit's.

I agree about Haye; at least for the moment. He has added some "life" so to speak just from his big mouth, and I can't wait to see him and Wlad go at it; so just being excited about a heavyweight fight is something isn't it?

I like Arreola; he comes to fight and has a certain charm about him. But as was said, it will take alot to get this HW scene anywhere near exciting as a whole. Somehow guys like the carpeted neanderthal Vauev don't excite me too much. I like Wlad but he's too cautious; here's to hoping he really does intend to inflict alot of damage on Haye and it makes a good fight at least. If Haye should win it will stir things up for sure.

I'm hoping its Haye or Areola. I'm not totally convinced but my fingers are crossed. I would love to See Haye spark Wlad. That would totally shake things up a bit. Wlads almost unbearable to watch to me anyway.

Have always preferred lighter and faster Hvys compared to the larger versions. As a whole,Ive always thought the Hvy division a bit over rated. For Arreolas excitment level, they should seriously deprive him of a pre-fight meal..or two.

David Haye. I think he brings controversy and a hard KO punch. His dodgy chin is another factor that makes you want to watch.

If not Haye I think Arreola has a shot, and I'd like to see Kevin Johnson take another decent step up. The Barrett fight would have given us a good indication of how good he was going to be so hopefully that fight, or a fight against someone like Peter or Chambers would give us some indication. When an American announces himself on the scene, people will take notice because HBO will hype him big time.

I don't think Eastern European boxers will do it. Nobody in the US seems to give much of a toss about them, and the US is where the money is.

It seems to be virtually unanimous with Haye...

The only trouble is that he cannot do it by himself and the division is just about dead on its feet,I think we need to see more competition coming through to make it the Division we want to see again...But I don't know where from!!

One things for sure tho...it definitely aint coming from UK with the likes of Fury,Rogan,Chisora or Sexton!
