I do so hope the Sox pull this out but with the Tigers pitching staff it is not a given. If the Sox are able to handily beat the Tigers I think the momentum will get them through the world series as victors. That was the original intention to build a new stadium but there are problems already. Anfield will do a 60,000 seater with redevelopment.

With all due respect, we are limiting this topic to Baseball. Red Sox are looking good. I grew up near Fenway stadium so it is dear to me. I find soccer very interesting as the fans are so intense but I don't understand the hooligans, riots and people being crushed to death at a sport which should entertain the masses, not kill them. We do have some riots etc at American sporting events but it seems to be the norm in many parts of the world with soccer. For the most part, if our team wins, we are happy and go home, if they lose, we are sad and go home.

There is a connection between Liverpool and RedSox trough the ownership of Fenway. Liverpool have not had major success for nearly 25 years and he has brought success to Red Sox, Liverpool want the same.
