corkscrew hook

anyone knowledgeable about the corkscrew hook thrown off the lead hand that has a trajectory similar too an overhand right, but hooks almost like a hook thrown on a vertical plane? if so any tips on throwing it and have you found it useful in any particular situations/

It works great when thrown with a clockwise pivot over the southpaw jab. Also great after you parry down an orthodox opponent's straight right. (Watch Kostya Tszyu do it against Vernon Forrest in the olympics for many great examples of this.)
