Man - I'm trying to keep in shape and love a beer while watching good fights. I have little hope. But this will be a good couple of months for good fights I agree (fingers crossed).

I couldn't do that. Same night as Cotto-Mosley, which I'm going to. The undercard to that is looking superb right now.

Said it in another post but for me Golden Boy have played a massive part in this.

Like it or not, in the age of the UFC Vs. Boxing argument, Oscar has stepped up to the plate and is delivering quality fights EVERY month the same way UFC is producing quality monthly events. Dana White bought Pride, Oscar bought The Ring Magazine.

Is it good for the sport that he is getting such a strangle hold? It would seem that way so far.

And boxing seems to be "coming into fashion," again. More and more members of the general public are becoming inquisitive in the fight game. Which is definitely a good thing

The Uc Boxing thing i think is a bit over rated, its like comparing the wwf to boxing Ufc will never take over from boxing and take its fans, just not possible imo.

    ^^^

Totally agree mate but you can't get away from the argument or the fact that UFC is doing massive PPV's.

The two most interesting match-ups got canceled. Calzaghe is going to overwhelm the very average Kessler. It's a down season for boxing. Great things are brewing...

I'm really not anticipating the Marquez Juarez fight whatsoever

I think it's going to be a snoozefest, Juarez is gunshy and won't do anthing than plod around the ring on the way to a unanimous decision loss.

But the others are great matchups for sure.

Pretty much, Marquez-Juarez is good enough to watch but nothing I'll be eagerly anticipating, Juarez is just a boring fighter. The rest are good though.

I have to disagree. While I think he'll be outclassed I think Juarez is very interesting to watch. He's a big puncher and he may even floor Marquez. In the end I just think he'll get outpointed.

That's true & why I'm hoping Floyd does well on "Dancing with the Stars" when it starts again later this month. It was the 2nd most popular show in the US behind only American Idol so a huge number of people might be seeing him for the first time.

Maybe Floyd will increase his fanbase with people who liked his dancing & want to see him fight?
