    Default Dull fights Last Night?

I though all of the big fights last night were really disappointing.

Castillo looked poor, although I did say in the rbr that he probably would, he doesn't really shine against unknowns.

The Hatton Urango fight was ugly, started well but a mess by the end.

Valuev McCline was building into something nice but then the knee injury.

Junior Witter was by his own standards at least reasonably entertaining but the fight just wasn't competative.

A shame I had high hopes for this weekend but the fights were dull.

I much prefered Friday Night Fights this week with a great lightheavyweight bout between Williams and Blades, the return of Randall Bailey and a nice little tribute to Ali.

    What did you guys think?

I actually think both the Castillo and Hatton fights were very watchable. Castillo had a tough time and that made it very edgy to watch. Hatton was great for 5 rounds and then it became a chore towards the end....but ive no complaints on the whole...

Ive not seen the other fights

Hatton established his dominance and then bored me to tears last night.

Castillo obviously couldn't be pissed to put in the effort need to make an exciting fight.

BOTH guy put forth just enough effort to win, I guess in this day and age, that's about
all the "elite" fighters are willing to do. I miss the days of Hagler, Hearns and Leonard.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Any fight that gets me emotional is a good one for me.

I was so angry with Hatton I thought I was going to stroke. That was good.

I watched the Castillo fight stonefaced.
