It was not pretty But I don't think he lost any of those fights even though Winky came the closest.

Spinks is not a bad boxer by any means, he is just not a pretty boxer in the ring. Nevertheless it was a close fight that could have went either way, I saw it for Taylor.

What is the point of getting into boxing if you are going to discard the judges. Regardless of liking what the judges say, if they say someone won they won. That always stands. Had Delahoya won on the judges cards two weeks ago people would be singing his praises now as a great fighter who beat Mayweather. The judges scorecards do matter.

Taylor beat Hopkins twice and drew with Winky, which makes him even in skills to a Winky, which is pretty good. This fight last night was boring but Spinks did not win it. This is the only thing I do not like about message boards, they get people to say there was a robbery everytime a decision comes in boxing. Spinks winning that fight was ridiculous.. Why would he win? He was not effective, he was fast and his speed bothered Taylor, but he won the first two rounds and maybe at the most one or two others when the rounds looked even with neither guy doing anything, but Taylor did not throw punches in those rounds which were even, but usually Taylor won the rounds with sharper right hands and his jab. This fight was not too difficult to score. Taylor won a very boring fight with long right hand counters and his reach in a fight where neither guy pushed it. Why are you guys saying Spinks won that fight? Saying he won does not mean he won. Does not change the score.
