Just glad this one's happening, I've always liked Groves for this but with DeGale's latest performance again Smigga and Groves not being so convincing against Kenny Anderson I'm actually leaning the other way!

yep, the same person who told me about the bids said it is looking like degale would drop out

apparently degale would get the majority too, it wouldnt be 200k each so for a bigger fight you would think it would be at the very very least a big european title fight but more like a big name american

I hear Warren has sounded out Dimitri Sartison for Degale to get a crack at the WBA title. Warren put forwarding a losing bid of £325,000. Since it won't be on his promotion, I'll be stunned if it goes through. There again, I allowed Cleverly to fight McIntosh on a Hennessy bill, but I think there is a considerable amount of money to be made from this one at a later date. Shows some balls from Booth to bid so high for this though considering people said he wasn't too keen on making it.

I'm pretty sure that the BBBoC has ordered the purse bids for this fight so all money etc being treated as it's for British title with Groves belt thrown in. Guessing British champ will get bigger cut

This purse bid was for the British title. The British champ is guaranteed 60%. If the Commonwealth title is not relinquished I would assume it's worth something.
