Hatton is a good athlete who trains hard but I don't think that he's ready for this weight class....or at least a Spaw in this weight class.

I was told by a journalist pal who was there, there was shit happening with the Promoters having arguements. There were problems, which probably affected Ricky, you can never tell. He hasnt got a good track record against southpaws. It was just one of those nights , but He won, even so my pal had him loosing, hes a good judge but shit happens

I'm sorry to say that it was a little bit of both. It was a bad night for Hatton and he also was exposed in certain ways for lacking skills or having bad habits. I'm also sorry to say that Hatton is close to losing me as a fan with the constant holding. I just got through watching his fight with Ray Oliveira, 1 of Hatton's better performances, and his performance against Collazo was far worse. Against Oliveira he also did a bit of tying up inside, but it's just a habit of Hatton's, and he always let go after 2 or 3 seconds in order to throw shots on the inside. He did the same thing against Kostya Tszyu, tying up, pushing and wrestling a bit, but letting go to throw punches. I don't like that style at all, but if a fighter lets go after tying up it's a lot better than waiting for the referee to step in and separate the fighters, which is what he did over and over again against Collazo. From my perspective it's an ugly style, 1 that makes me grimace in disgust. Even if you don't regard clinching as much of a foul you can't honestly say that wrestling should be part of boxing.

Hatton is not a welter weight. It's as simple & straightforward as that.

I HAVE A QUESTION? NOW WHY WASN'T THERE A DRUG TEST DONE AFTER THE FIGHT? I AIN'T ACCUSING ANYONE OF BEING DRUGGED UP BUT I KNOW AS WELL AS EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO TAKE A DRUG TEST AND IT WASN'T DONE.

If a rematch occurs I think its Collazo who wont know what hit him...too much is being made of a bad day at the races. Things went a little pear shaped in there, but Hatton WON. Not by much, but he won nonetheless. Who's to say if Collazo can repeat that showing? Im pretty sure he's never been better than that night, and im adamant that Hatton has been somewhat better....

A big if on the rematch front though, coz we dont know if there will be one....
This isn't the races...this is boxing....he might have been off...MIGHT......the only way he can prove this IS with a rematch....if he ducks Collazo then we know the real answer...If he comes back and beats Collazo I will admit he had an off night...I don't think he will....so until then He's overrated...
It feels good to be back home.

Hey stranger things have happened....love to see people go back on their words after one fight. He is going to have to learn to fight at welterweight, he's going to have to adapt or get beat.

I think Ricky has the heart to be a great welterweight, there have been smaller guys that have done well there

1ST LET ME SAY: HEY LYLE MAN, you sure been layin some tan on the posts--I see multiple "LYLE" all the way down the sheet, Limie Scouse!

    Now.....ahemmm!!!...

Hatton fought a south paw, and it was awkward, the punches also came from opposite distances and they stun him more like that. a short right jab will stun the piss out of a fighter who's used to getting jabbed the other way.....uh, errrr..... That's what I think!!

    The answer is neither.

Collazo needs credit for nullifying Hatton...period!

Most people agree hatton is a light wwelter, right? and PBF is at his limit at welter, right?

If PBf moved up a w8, first match was against a champion at that w8, a champion who was very much underated like Collazo, a champion who was a natural at that w8, had a 7 or so bigger reach than PBF, with fast accurate punches. Now remebering all that picture that fight in say, England, PBF first fight in england, trying to make a name from him self there as if it matterd vs that champ who is also english.

Now say the outcome of that fight was very much like hattons,

Bo honest, would most of you here be raving to the forums to question PBF being over-hyped, or would you be more likely to have an excuse ready, or even actualy brag him up a lil more, because he still won even with all of the above against him?
