Default USA-Italy (I was away for the weekend and didn't get to vent)

WHO THE FUCK WAS THAT REF?!?!?! 3 red cards?!?!?! I could understand the one for the Italian player seeing how he drew blood but Pope and Mastreoni didn't deserve to get tossed. USA played their hearts out, BIG BIG TIE for USA, it should have been a W though but the ref fucked up!

And Bruce Arena, PUT IN JOHNSON YOU FAT BASTARD!!!

Down Eddie Pope and Pablo Mastreoni we'll have to start 2 new guys, I suggest Eddie Johnson or Beasley for the midi spot and I guess Conrad or Lewis for Defense.

pope was unlucky on the 1 st booking, no arguments on the 2nd, and mastreoni can feel unlucky but if u go in with studs up you can expect a lot of these refs to be card happy, there was no need to go for the challenge like that.

Mastreoni didn't have his studs up, he was late on the tackle, I would have been cool with a yellow but to go ahead and give a red without warning (for that particular tackle) is WRONG.

That Ref just created US soccer hooligans!

The US played with a ton of heart though, great to have my boy Dempsey in there!!!

yea i agree its a yellow, u dont have to hav studs up though, 2 footed is a no

england get punished alot as our game is tougher than most leagues so wen we get a poncey ref from a soft league we get pulled up on everything

Eddie Pope is my sons favourite player. He's 4 years old and i have no idea why he has chosen Eddie Pope. Everytime we play footy he wants to be him. Not Beckham, not gerrard, Not Lampard but Eddie bloody Pope! I think its cos he was the last one in the USA team he needed to get in his sticker book to complete the team.

His second favourite player is Dirk Kuyt from Holland. I dont even think that kunt's playing is he?

Eddie Pope is from High Point which is a neighboring town to Greensboro (where I am from)... the high school age kids really do well in soccer here. You will continue to see a marked improvement in our skill as the years go by

they were trying to give the US soccer a glitter of hope.....but now it's gone.....all I was trying to get across was that is the worst game ITALY will have and while even scoring a goal for the other team they didn't lose.....
