The only one I disagree with (1 out of 100 aint bad) is Naseem. He was good, but he wasnt top 10 of the 90's. To have him ahead of Trinidad, Mosley, Lewis, JCC and Hopkins i dont agree with. Maybe top 25, but 7 is far too high IMO.
Great work again tho BK
kool, sure he was not at the peak of his career in the 90's but he was on of the only fighters who could still make some noise and sell out places fighting john dohOriginally Posted by Britkid
he probbaly still could now. tyson need to train a young up and comming fighter, then he can make some noise again. i think he could teach what cus taught. he would be a good trainer

Despite being 12lbs over his prime fighting weight Oscar gave Trinidad his hardest fight to date, and many people dispute the decision.Originally Posted by gbrandon
Mosley looked the real in the 90s, but was not tested properly until the 21st century.
Whitaker gave de la Hoya a scare, but I think Oscar deserved the decision.
Whitaker is a little unlucky, as he peaked in 90/91, and very gradually slipped down the hill from there; so perhaps does not get the credit he may of deserved. The draw with Chavez being a post 91 highlight.

Naseem is a controversial one no doubt. I was a big fan, and I put him #7 on the strength of victories in the decade over fighters rated 28, 53, 56 and 64 on my list...Originally Posted by AC-Cobra
Cc for the great list. Only 2 things I disagree with. Ike Quartey is to low at #42. And where the hell is Jesse James Leija at? How can he not make the list.Originally Posted by Britkid
Fair point, I could not find a place for Ivan Robinson and Gabriel Ruelas either, I thought before I began both would be there. I guess that shows how strong the era was.Originally Posted by Violent Demise
Great list but I'm still angered by your shocking omission of Frank Bruno from the 80's.
I mean, come on man name me one fighter bigger than Bruno in the 80's in Britain?
Sure he wasn't the best but he fought for the world title more than once, and brought excitement and drama to every fight. He was the first man ever to rock Tyson, gave Lewis fits for several rounds and came within minutes of beating Bonecrusher Smith and Tim Witherspoon.
I simply will not respect you boxing knowledge any longer until you rectify this slander.
And to think you call yourself Britkid? Shame on you!
Put Bruno in the top 100!!! :P
Sure would, give me a shout, when the New season begins. I will have to get my head around the American betting system in the mean timeOriginally Posted by killersheep
LOL, [click], in my defence, he almost got into the 90s list...Originally Posted by bilbo
