Now i think this is the biggest pile of BS i've ever seen, not only is it insensitive its fake.

I've seen it happen all the time in American History, something tragic or horrific happens and in the true capitalistic way, Movie makers decide to take the story, make people look like hero's, make lots of money and in turn alter history. (We've all seen the WW2 films where the yanks win it all by themselves)

I just think its digusting, the simple fact is the firemen who went into that building were doing their job, they didnt know the towers were going to fall, it was, in the loosest sense, an every day situation for them. They were not hero's.

Mate, they could hear the structural beams snapping. They said that it sounded like bombs were goig off every second. How would you know they didn't know? Were you in the building? There is video of firefighters in the building, they obviously knew something was up. As for the movie, don't care for it.

I'm sure the movie is awful, I'm just not so sure that you would have been right into there the same as those fire fighters where... fire fighters are not stupid or untrained... they had a pretty good idea of what they where running into... how ever unpredictable it was, a rocket scientist is needed to figure out what is likely to happen to a hollow structure surrounded by conrete support by what is basically a giant climbing frame when a plane is flown into it and jet fuel and the impact seriuosly weaken the infastructure.

As an American, I can tell you the awareness about what happend has gone down and something needs to come around and change that. On the other hand it's pathetic they're cashing in on all that death. But to say they're not heros is pretty fuckin riduculous, especially for someone who's probably never taken a chance like that with his/her little fortunate life. Get those bitter fingers under control and start commenting when you've been educated on the subject.

I think it's too soon to make a film. I'm 30 and wouldn't mind watching a 9/11 film when I'm 60, but I can remember it all pretty well at the moment.

As far the firefighters being heroic. I agree that they were. I wouldn't do it. I'd of quit my job on the spot. Not entirley out of fear ( I admit that would be a huge part of it) but I think my family would rather have a son, boyfriend, cousin, etc. than a dead hero on their hands

I would go out of my way to help an indivual in a dangerous situation if I thought it would make a difference. But knowing that I might save one or two people and then die myself... I'll pass on those odds.

Just the other day I got into with my girlfriend when I told her I would NOT go save my baby from the Hills Have Eyes people. The mother is dead, let them have the baby. What good would it do for me to rush to my death? The best thing for me to do it survive the situation and bring back a large group of individuals.

it basically based on the World Trade center only being able to collapse if the metal support frame was basically liquified by the heat.

The structure can be weakened enough for a cataostrophic failiure at less than half of that.

And apperantly clouds of cement and other debris can only be caused by an explosion...

What ever your political stance, opinion on Bush or conspiracy theories, you can't deny the Humanity and courage displayed by rescue workers. it takes balls to run into a burning bungalow. Every time a fire fighter goes out on call to a dangerous situation they do something heroic, everyday situation or not.
