    Default Finding my fighting weight

Wuz up yall Im about five seven and weigh 130 pounds. I have been working out real hard for the last couple of months and Im planning on starting to box some time in January. I have noticed a huge improvment in my strenght and stamina not to mention I have lost like thirty pounds but I am still pretty flaby espsecially around the mid section. I still have love handles and a mini gut. Does this mean that I need to drop another five or ten pounds or that I just need to town my flaby 130 pound body untill it becomes a lean 130 pound body. I would realy apreciate some words of wisdom here as this can be very frustrating and discouraging. Thanks in advance.

don't worry about it. having never boxed you have a long time to go before your first amateur fight.

Just get to a boxing gym train hard and eat clean, your weight will sort itself out, Like von said you have a long time until your first fight.

Train hard, eat well and your body will find itself... your mind can't find it.

As long as you don't starve your self/over eat/try and force bulk on your body will adapt to it's fighting weight.

Just get in teh gym first, no point trying to through a 1 2 if you can't even jab now is there? :P
