THE MAN IS A LEGEND...
about 1 year ago i first saw a wrestling promotion by the name of TNA on TV, i immidiatley recognized the play by play man as mike tenay, who i remembered from WCW, and the man with him looked EXTREMLEY familiar... i KNEW i knew him... but i had no idea why...
i learned his name was don west and it seemed slightly familliar...
i still couldnt recall who he was exactly
it was yesterday night i finally realized who the man was and why i knew that i loved him...
i went downstairs in my house to get some food, and while down there i heard a man on the home shopping channel or shop NBC or some shit say, in the most monotone unexcite voice possible something like 'forgive me if i sound over-enthusiastic'
i thought to myself 'i could do that far better'
and i immidiatley remembered something i hadnt thought about for years...
i remembered a man i used to watch EVERY week, on channel 9 at like 1AM to 6AM
a man who would sell sports memorabillia
a man who could make you want to buy ANYTHING
and it was then that i realized who don west was...
DON WEST WAS THAT MAN!!!
the man i used to watch EVERY SINGLE WEEK for hours selling baseball cards is now again somewhere i can see him every single week!!!!!
and it involves wrestling!!!
i assume VERY few people were lucky enough to have seen the man in action, and i found some clips of the greatest salesman of all time
i would watch this for hours every single week, and one day it just wasnt aired any longer, im not exactly sure when that was, i have discovered he was apparentley doing the sports memorabillia thing for shop at home until about 2001, but i would watch him on channel 9 when they went off the air so it wasnt shop at home(i assume that has its own channel) and they may have stopped buying the airtime one channel 9 before they did away with his sports show, i have no idea when i last saw him, i do remember that it had stopped airing before channel 5 started to air back to back WOW (women of wrestling, a short lived all female wrestling promotion) and THUNDERBOX (from what i remember it was some type of boxing show that tried to air storylines and sort of give the fighters wrestling like charecters) they aired around the time the sports memorobillia show had aired prior...
here is teh greatest salesman of all time...
