Hatton needs to impress big time as far as i and the US audiences are concerned.
So how do we see this one panning out...?

never seen urango fight and NEED A LINK IF ANYONE HAS ANY so can't fully predict, havent heard good stuff about urango from most of the peeps on this site but they don't give titles away to unbeaten fighters for no reason. the hatton camp arn't daft though. they would have chosen an opponent to make for an exciting fight but also to make ricky look good.
i got all the faith in a hatton win but need to see urango fight.
This fight is garbage and so is Urango. But I'm a cut Hatton some slack. If he ends this fight before the 5th round than he did what he had to do. He faced a bum and destroyed the bum. But if he struggles with Urango, than there is no excuse. I will look at Hatton as being seriously overrated. And I will go back on the Hatton site and say it so. If they ban me (which they will) than I will create another ID and do it all over again.
What makes you think he should stop him inside five? Its not like Hattons a big puncher. Has Urango looked frail in any previous fights?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
His one draw should of also been a loss. It was against Mighty Mike Arountas (how ever the fuck you spell his last name) on Showbox. I taught Mike was going to stop him late. And Mike can't punch. I'm expecting a cake walk for HattonOriginally Posted by Memphis
Hatton should blow this guy away imo and well inside the distance and i fully expect him to do so.
When you look at Urango's record it is poor and he has struggled against some of them.
Fact is that Hatton needs to impress in style because i think he's losing 'face' rapidly in the States plus he is the Headliner this time around
So has anyone seen Urango fight or have any clips they can share..?
Seems people know very little of him.
His fight against Ben Rabah was on espn, I can't find the video on their website at all.Originally Posted by Smashup

occasional success with the right cross. Ben Rabah outlanded Urango 2 to 1 in punches.
The hometown judges gave a UD to Urango. I have no idea which fight they were watching.
Urango's style is the walk forward...punch straight.....repeat. Urango is a very slow one-dimensional fighter with moderate power (Think of Lacy's last fight in slow motion, that's Urango)
Hatton HAS to completely own this own this guy to impress me, anything less would be a shame.
I don't think Hatton could straight up KO him, but a mid-round TKO would be very easy for Hatton 5th - 6th round.

CC for the info Sheepmeister
All i knew of urango was that he was slow
Is castillo still on the undercard? i agree hatton needs to impress tho and badly, hes slipped out of the light a bit recently, a good beating of this guy, then a highly hyped fighht with castillo will do him good.
np bro CC back, It's kinda dissapointing that the first quarter of next year is going to beOriginally Posted by Smashup
a bunch of mandatories and moderate competition.
When Hatton / Castillo happens though there will be some definate fireworks and should make it worth the wait.
Early next year though.
Hatton vs. Urango
Castillo vs. Ngoudjo
Cotto vs. Urkal
Margarito vs. Williams (would have been good, but may be cancelled)
Witter vs. Morua
What the hell is going on here?
And yes Castillo is still on the undercard.

Cake: When someone takes the cake they are regarded as having come first in some, often trivial, activity or other. Most authorities consider that this saying goes back to the days of slavery in the USA.Originally Posted by Violent Demise
The slaves used to hold competitions to see which couple could produce the most elegant walk. The best promenaders won a prize, almost always a cake.
The extravagant walk required for this type of competition came to be called a Cakewalk and this gave rise to the old fashioned expression "it's a cakewalk". However the meaning later came to emphasise the trivial nature of the competition and began to imply that the effort needed was minor and of little account.
In consequence the modern saying "it's a piece of cake" could well be based on these old customs.
There is a much older possible origin, going back to the ancient Greeks. A "cake" in those times was a toasted cereal bound together with honey. It was given to the most vigilant man on night watch. Aristotle is quoted as having written in "The Knights": "if you surpass him in impudence, then we take the cake".
Urango looks bad against people who want to box and move and counter. All three Hatton has only done in one fight. So this should be exciting. The flaws Urango has don't fall into the advantage of Hatton's style.
What a stupid move on Hattons part. I love the guy but 147 is where it will make him the mo! its sad really cos i know he will dominate 140. 147 is where Cotto is waiting for him and i hope he realises this before Cotto becomes invinsible at 147.
