Default Junior Witter still crying over Hatton

Just read an interesting little quote from Junior Witter that I thought might be a goody for the Brits to gang up on regarding Hatton.

"A slip up could cost us what will be the biggest fight in British Boxing history given that we should both be genuine world champions at the time."

    Here's a link for the full read : http://www.fightnews.com/fightnews_2...EEIMXsrmv.html

Personally...I think Witter is over ratting himself just a tad...you's?

He still thinks its just about the belt. He needs to add the performances to go with it or Hatton Witter just isn't viable right now.

hell yeah witter is over rating him self. i think a domestic fight between hatton and witter would be awesome but witter has got to do a lot more to earn one if you ask me and he needs to become a bigger name in the states for hatton to take notice. its quite funny in hatton's book where he mentions something about witter being a gob shite and hatton not wanting to give witter the satisfaction of the biggest pay day of his life by fighting him cos he's such a worm. but i reckon hatton should have gone after witter instead of urango to be honest. get the WBC title and shut up a domestic rivel for good and please a british (if not the guys in states) audience instead of going after a more unknown fighter in urango for a title that hatton has already held. and urango is probably a more dangerous opponent.
hatton and witter had to be friendly and shake hands at the sports personality of thte year awards last week and there didn't seem any bad blood between them, but it might have been interesting to see wot went on behind the scenes.

Im more interested in the fact that Witters at the Ally Pally again ...
I was so p1ssed when i realised that Corley was over in Wood Green and i bloody missed it!

Witters alright man, the fight would be great too, no one could deny that.
Dont see, right now, why Hatton shouldn't jsut give Witter the fight?

To be fair to Witter though wasn't Hatton (his mob) waffling about Witter doesn't have anything to offer - he has to win something... Now he's won WBC they don't want to know cause Witters not a draw - he has to make himself more attractive

Two of the best fighters in the world at 140lbs, that live a stones throw from each other, yet they're fighting on the same night on the same PPV against two Nobodies. Great stuff

Hatton-Witter isn't a big fight outside of Manchester, if we're honest

check out the first thirty seconds of witter's title fight with corley.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqPYw0S5CWI
    exciting stuff
i've seen a lot of witter since his fight with judah and i don't think hatton has got much to worry about really.
can any one remember the fight when witter threw a massive wide swinging left hook that swung himself to the canvas? he hasnt got the reflexes to pull of the naz style of switch hitting and swaying around.

Witter needs to get over Hatton for the meantime. Its only ever going to be a second best fight for Hatton, where is its a career making fight for Witter.
