    Default KO of the year

Tie: Calvin Brock's KO of Zuri Lawrence, and Ponce De Leon icing of Sod Looknongyangtoy. Both guys out like a light. Scary and chilling. Sod was administered oxygen while the fans wacthed in horror. Meanwhile, Merchant made this sensitive remark, "Well, when he wakes up, he'll wonder why he made such a long trip for such a short night's work."

Lawrence was almost decapitated and remained unconscious for several minutes.

It is an awesome knockout, Lawrence is tired as hell which makes it all the more dangerous, and spectacular, plus he hit is head on the mat, like roy jones v glen johnson. That shit keeps you down.

This one is just pure power. Lights out baby, bang on the point of the chin, the guy didn't see it coming. Very Kostya Tszyu, I love this dude.

However, I still voted Wlad's KO of Calvin Brock as the knockout of the year, the punch was pure quality, and the significance was much greater, due to the nature of the opponent.

    Yep...that fight was crazy...hell...that wasn't even a fight...those seconds I should say.

He literally didn't know what hit him...insanity.

This is one I missed, but I hear it rates high.

"The punch you never see coming is the one that gets you and that's exactly what happened to hard luck Michael Warrick.

Out of the ring for 14 months since losing on a 10th round TKO to Jeffrey Resto, Warrick was holding his own against promising junior welterweight Demetrius "The Gladiator" Hopkins for eight rounds. However, the nephew of the legendary middleweight king Bernard Hopkins, who is in town to face Antonio Carver on Saturday night in Atlantic City; turned out the lights after catching Warrick with two left jabs followed by a crushing right hand to the jaw.

Warrick was out before he hit the deck face first and referee Randy Neumann didn't even finish his count; as medical personnel rush to the aid of the defeated boxer. Warrick remained on the floor for several minutes before he was slowly allowed to sit up and then regain his feet."

Yeah the Wlad KO to Brock was intense. Man he hit the mat like a rag doll. Although not anyhting spectacular, I thought that it was very surprising the Briggs KOed Liakhovich, considering that i percieved SL to have an IQ above 50 to stay away in a final round.
