I thought Manny was the mandatory?!?
Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has asked the World Boxing Council to “enforce Humberto Soto” as the mandatory challenger to newly crowned WBC super featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez even though Manny Pacquiao is listed as the mandatory challenger.
Pacquiao’s close friend and confidant Rex “Wakee” Salud confirmed the report and indicated he couldn’t understand what Arum was up to while Schaefer posed the question, “who is Arum looking out for?.”

I think it's because if they accept their mandatory position, the purse would be 70-30 split in Marquez favor, so there's a rumor going around here that they are actually setting up a Barrera rematch to give Barrera a chance and his last big fight against Pac. I have no idea if that is true though.

JMM v Pac,winner v MAB and winner of that v Soto. In the meantime,Soto can fight Guzman,B Pacquaio,just stay active!

Pacfanwhat do you think of your boys next fight v Solis? I've seen Solis last fight,Manny should eat this guy alive. He hits reasonably hard,is really really slow,D isn't that good. He doesn't really impress in any area! I wonder if Pac is motivated with such a small fight? And why the heck is Arum not getting Manny the fight?!?!?!

I can only say that a well-conditioned pac can take on any second rate fighter without much problem, but the problem is that my boy don't take these fight too seriously. The news here is that he's cramming his training again, having arrived at the Wild-card late carrying around 147lbs! with only about 2 weeks to go. And also, remember they won't be training much the last few days before the fight. I haven't seen Solis fight but I think a reasonably well-prepared pac should be able handle him without a big problem, I hope. But never know for sure though, there is always this think called 'upset.'

So hes been hanging out with Hatton....
I openly admitted to being a 'closet fan' of Pac-Man hes just an exciting fighter to watch, explosive and his his personality is great....
He's a shame, he shouldn't be allowed to fight - simply said: banned.

I reckon Soto would deserve a shot against a bigger name if he fully shows up bobby pac. Hes one of the biggest names at super feather and there is never any mention of him. i would like to see JMM ( no mick not Jean Marc Mormeck
