Default What if Floyd let his hands go more often?

Before all the PBF fans get their panties in a wod, i want to recognize that Floyd does have a good knockout ratio. 63% i believe. But I could definitely see that ratio in the 90's if he let his hands go more often instead of being so careful. That would rally alot more fans to his side of the isle. I definitely think that he could have had more ko's in the fights between Gatti and ODH. He could have put Oscar down if he laid it on the line a little more. Let me know what you guys think.

    I think....

If Floyd let his hands go more..Then he would get hit more..

At the end of the day.. Though he aint the most crowd pleasing fighter out there...

He still has to fight for himself...And when he's safest and at his best fighting like he does n people dont like it... Not his problem really..

He wouldn't KO Oscar if he would stick out his chin like Mayorga.

I agree, i think it goes if it aint broke dont fix it. Do you think that he's a little cautious of what happened in the Hernandez fight could happen again maybe. Now i didnt see this fight but if he unloaded early and damaged his hand against world class opposition DLH for example could he opf lasted the remaining six.

floyd does let his hands go..but only after he considers the other guy's power...he let his hands go against chop-chop and augustus...augustus bloodied floyd up pretty good..but floyd will only do this if he truly feels the other guy doesn't hit with kayo power...

I know he'd open himself up more to being thumped...I'm speaking strictly from a boxing fans stand point. Do you think his fan base would be significantly larger than it already is?

yeah because most fans really don't care how good a fighter is just so long as they beat the crap out of each other...why was gatti liked so much? surely not because of his skills...

it weird because tyson had a huge fanbase because he knocked out bums...roy jones fanbase wasn't really that large yet he dominated everyone. gatti had a fanbase but wasnm't that good a boxer but could take a beating..ala real life balboa...fans are fickle and they will suck the balls of whoever hbo or the majority tells them to..and the flip side of that the other fans will be interested to see the favorite get beat...floyd's fanbase will be what it is..nothing will change it...it will get smaller before it gets larger...
