It is an interesting point. Who exactly did Lewis meet in his Prime?

    Tua?!

I think Lewis was the best of his generation but like Tyson and so many others was unable to face another great in his Prime...

Unfortunately for Tyson, he did choose to try and extend his career too long...

Lewis retired and is pretty safe from too much revisionism. Though the Klit fans give it a try...

I can stand this mad argument about a fighter winning/losing in their "prime". Its bollox, Lewis beat all but 2 of his oponents and avenged them both. He fought everyone there was to fight, even wanted Bowe who lost his bottle!! Tyson wasn't at his best when they fought, of course he wasn't, but Lewis beat the man infront of him. Holyfield was forever mentioned at being "past his prime" and continued to beat or come very close against the best there was. Lewis beat him twice (that first fight was never a draw). He had some boring fights (Tua, Akinwande) and he spoke some nonsense that irritated people (big up...) but the man was technically fantastic. Remember how he destroyed Grant, Briggs, Bruno, Ruddock, Tyson, Rehman etc......

Top 5 heavyweight of all time without any shadow of a doubt!
