I saw on Boxrec that he is making another return fight against a bum!
Does anyone think he could ever have a say in the heavyweight scene again?

I would say not but in the sport of boxing anything can happen.
Yeah I read a month or so ago that a new promotional outfit in Sweden had permission for him & Bruce Seldon to fight in separate fights on the same card. Neither fight is permitted to go longer than 12 minutes. My thinking is it'll be a couple of four-threes rather than six-twos.
It's all exhibition stuff. I don't think anywhere will allow him to fight 12 rounds for a world title again.
cheers for the input guys. With these comebacks like Holyfield i thought to myself, maybe Riddick Bowe will have one in the bag as well.
I was a little unclear before, it's not an exhibition bout, but it'll come across that way. It's an actual sanctioned bout and will be counted on his professional record.
I can not believe he is even allowed to fight. Exhibitions or otherwise. He is an accident waiting to happen
I dont agree with that, hes not that bad and he surely has the experience that a lot of heavys dont have. In reality hes only lost one fight and hes avenged that loss twice.Originally Posted by Punching Princess

Riddick Bowe has had enough in ring wear and tear. Too much more and he will end up needed to be taken care of in his later years

It's impossible for somebody to stay retired. You can't retire from boxing, boxing has to retire you.
If he is 275 or 280 lbs, no, but I like Bowe, Big Daddy's cool and can shake up a lot of people still, besides he has no undefeated record kinda legacy to protect so why wouldn't he comeback? As long as he doesn't bring the thugsters who used to surround him at ringside!
