I also hated Trinidad for beating Obar Carr and Campus but totally supported him after that. Does anyone have similar experiences?
I hated Hagler for beating Hearns and now I like him. I guess it is like you I see my favorite guy beat, but then later I see the qualities which made him beat my favorite fighter and you have to admire them. Also, when a guy is beat it isn't like he is a bad fighter. Look at Andries who you mentioned. Dennis lost to Hearns, and then went to Kronk and became a better fighter and fought Harding 3 times and won the title 2 more times and even beat Bobby Czyz. Dennis turned out to be in my mind one of the top 10 light heavies of the 80s and early 90s. To this day I think Dennis Andries was the most underrated fighter at 175.. He was seen as crude as most people said, but he had a good jab and was strong and he overwhelmed guys. He even beat a tough fighter named Crawford Ashley in 4 rounds.

I hated Zab Judah so much, but he received some respects from most people including me by showing tremendous heart against Cotto.

No, that should be "WE HAVE A TARVER FAN?"

I didn't like Lennox Lewis for a while after watching pretty much all of his fights you have to respect his abilities. I just didn't like how sometimes he would get off to a slow start like vs Bruno and Briggs

When he fought Leonard, I hated Duran but have since become a fan.

Also didn't care too much for Mancini once but now appreciate his all action style.

Terry Norris after he beat Ray - that was not the Ray that fought Duran, Hearns or even Hagler.

James Toney because he's a shit talker....and now I like him because his steroid use has taken him out of the sport for a while.

I dislike Naz and I am happy he has trouble with the law and is 100% retired

Wow we have a lot of old school fans here. LOL though a fighter I disliked, not really hated was Ricardo Mayorga. Going into the De La Hoya fight. ou see De La Hoya is my number 1 boxing hero. So you know how that plays out. Mayorga was talking to much thrash and I just rooted for De La Hoya to knock him out. After the fight I grew to like watching mayorga's action of back then before the fight. The beer drinking, ciagrette smoking. It entertains me so yeah I guess Mayorga

I used to absolutely hate Carl Froch with a passion but he's now my favourite British fighter.

I also rooted for Amir Khan to get KTFO for his first 10 fights but now he looks like he might actually be really good after all I'm backing him.

I know some people who don't care much for Oscar but pulled for him against both Ricardo & Floyd because they thought they talked too much before their fights with Oscar.

Personally, I always liked Oscar because love him or hate him, most of his fights didn't lack drama.
